Round Robin, Two Pools. Rules of play are those of the Volleyball Canada (VC).

Seeding for Pools

Seeding is based on the results of the indoor volleyball results at the 2009 Canada Summer Games. The two pools which will be established and will be seeded based on the serpentine system as follows:

Pool A : 1; 4; 5; 8; 9; 12
Pool B : 2; 3; 6; 7; 10; 11

The draw and schedule for the preliminary round robin as well as the schedule for both the Championship and consolation rounds will be done by the host organizing committee in consultation with the VC appointed Technical Representative.
