On a more personal note…

You’d be surprised to learn that, even in this age of internet connectivity and technological advancement, the two best friends of the Maestro of the 2013 Games are the lead pencil and wall sharpener…who knew!

Lynn Blouin

Deputy CEO – Communications and Human Resources

After more than 20 years experience in politics, first in the Eastern Townships and then, since 2003 as head of different ministries, our resident of Magog is also known for her community engagement.  From 1987 to 2003, she held various positions with the Traversée internationale du la Memphrémagog, including that of President.  From 1998-2003 she also held the position of Secretary General of the International Marathon Swimming Association.  More recently, her experience in tourism allowed her to assume the role of Cabinet Director for the Minister of Tourism.

On a more personal note…

While her Jazz, ballet and tap dance formation allowed her to develop her artistic side, have no fear – Lynn has the necessary character and strength to undertake any challenge…

Michel Dussureault

Deputy CEO – Planning and Sports Programming

An employee with Sherbrooke Universiry for almost 20 years, he is Administrative Director for the Faculty of Physical and Sports Education as well as Lecturer for the past 10 years.  He has a wealth of experience in organizing sports and other types of events.  Acting as Director General of the Quebec Games in 1995, he is closely linked to this organization as member of the Quebec Games Commission and President of the Host City selection committee.  He played an important role in Sherbrooke’s candidacy for the 2013 Canada Summer Games.  We will benefit from his experience in “prêt de service” and we want to salute this important collaboration from Sherbrooke University.

On a more personal note…

If you need Michel after work hours, he will most likely be on a bike path, a skating rink, a golf course, a cross-country ski trail, or in hiding in his garden.  Our sexagenarian is in reality an eternal kid, passionate about sports and outdoor life!
