Culture
The Canada Summer Games – Sherbrooke 2013 are a unique opportunity to highlight the creative talents of artists from across Quebec and Canada, who reflect our rich and diverse culture. A special place will be set aside for local and regional productions that can amaze the public.
The Canada Summer Games – Sherbrooke 2013 cultural programming will include the opening and closing ceremonies as well as various events and activities that will take place from August 2nd to 17th 2013. A diverse program that can please a multigenerational clientele will be presented.
The projects, artists and organizations chosen should contribute to the promotion of the values put forth by the Host Society: excellence, perseverance, pleasure, and responsibility, all in a spirit of friendliness. As with the athletes, artists will communicate their passion for their profession.
Through high-quality programming, the sports delegations will be able to take a breather from the pressures associated with competitions, if only for a minute or two, by losing themselves in the magic of art and performance. Furthermore, the cultural activities will allow visitors and locals to celebrate this grand event that will mark Sherbrooke's history.
If you would like to live this exceptional artistic experience, it is time to submit your candidacy, and GET IN THE GAMES!
