The Games Family welcomes new faces for 2012
It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of new employees into our Games Family. The New Year will bring in new motivated and experienced team members. No doubt the 2013 Canada Summer Games will greatly benefit from their personal knowledge.
Under the supervision of Luc Fournier, Kimberly Clemiss, Fundraising and Marketing Manager, and Marie-Ève Caron-Laramée, Administrative Services Manager will be joining the team. Kimberly will be in charge of bringing in new financial partners, establishing visibility for these partners, as well as negotiating a partnership with a television broadcaster. Marie-Ève will be responsible for administrative services, including contract management and purchasing. She will establish policies and procedures and will oversee their application.
Under the supervision of Michel Dussereault, Corine Beausoleil will assume the role of secretary for planning and competitions, but will be also support the communications and human resources teams.
Under the supervision of François Salvail, Geneviève-Aude Goudreault takes on the position of Sports Coordinator. Having already joined the team last week, her mandate includes assisting in the planning and execution of the competitions in the 20 disciplines. She will work with the different sport committees and National Sport Organizations to ensure that the Sherbrooke venues meet national standards.
Finally, under the supervision of Lynn Blouin, Mireille Roberge will take on the role of Coordinator for Community Relations. She will be responsible for relations with different socio-economic actors, including organizations and partners that could potentially join the Games, development of the Education Program, the mascot and the torch relay.
We will also be welcoming two new interns for an eight month period. Brought in from the Leisure, Culture and Tourism program at the Université du Québec à Trois Rivières, Samuel Ladouceur-Nappert and Daniel Lemoine will join us after the holidays.
Welcome everyone! This is what we call starting the new year on the right foot! : )
