Cultural Programmin : Submit your Proposal

13 february 2012, 10:02

The Canada Summer Games – Sherbrooke 2013 will provide a unique opportunity to highlight talent from Quebec and across Canada that reflects our cultural wealth and our diversity.  Cultural programming includes the opening and closing ceremonies as well as other diverse activities.

You are an artist or cultural organization?  You would like to help athletes take a breather, if only for a minute or two, from the pressures of competition as well as amaze thousands of visitors?  It’s time to submit your proposal!

Starting today, artists and organizations interested in producing an event during the Games can go our website www.2013canadagames.ca in the Games - Culture section to submit their proposal. There are two types of events possible – individual proposals and call for projects. A form must be completed and sent to the organization before May 31, 2012.

Proposals linked to all art forms will be considered if they contribute to the promotion of the values put forth by the Host Society : excellence, perseverance, pleasure, and responsibility, all in a spirit of friendliness. A consortium made up of the main cultural actors from the Sherbrooke region will be responsible for studying the proposals and developing the program.
